GP Registrar Training and Employment Workshop

This workshop will bring together Regional Training Hubs from across New South Wales and key stakeholders to explore the current landscape of Single Employer Models (SEMs), GP registrar employment entitlements, and longitudinal general practice training pathways. The primary aim is to develop a shared understanding of the opportunities, challenges and emerging developments in these areas, while ensuring all NSW Regional Training Hubs are up to date with the latest information, policy directions and program innovations. Through a combination of expert presentations, stakeholder perspectives and facilitated discussion, participants will examine existing models, identify elements that may be transferable or adaptable across jurisdictions, and explore alternative approaches that could strengthen rural and regional GP training pathways.
